In order to make an informed decision regarding a potential case, Neal H. Howard and Associates, P.C. conducts an initial investigation into the legal and factual issues of the claim. This includes initial legal research and an investigation of the evidence, which forms the foundation of a case. 

Only after investigation will we be in a position to determine the merits of a case and execute an agreement for legal services. We handles many cases on a contingency basis, meaning that the firm's fee is a percentage of the recovery, while other cases are undertaken at an hourly rate. In most cases, the rate of payment can only be determined after the initial investigation is completed. 

No money will be due for the initial investigation, and payment will only be necessary after the point in time when a potential client signs a written agreement for representation with our firm, which clearly outlines a reasonable rate of payment. Should we elect to decline representation after preliminary investigation, no money will be owed.
